F.S. 553.791 “ Private Provider serving the Florida Panhandle from Pensacola to Tallahassee and beyond. The Florida Legislature has recognized that delays in permitting and inspections cause delays in property development and construction.

To expedite property development and construction, the Legislature has enacted laws that allow property owners and contractors to hire private providers to perform building code inspection services (including plan review and inspections). fs553.791 allows you to use Florida Building Code Compliance Authority Inc. instead of the local building department for plan review and inspections.
